Dr. Charles “Carlos” Wesley Williams, Jr. was born again and water baptized in 1968. From that time he knew that the call of God was on his life. Under the tutelage of his father and first pastor, the late Archbishop Dr. Charles Wesley Williams Sr., and of his mother, Lady Eartha L. Williams, he understood the call to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was in his parent’s home that he was groomed for the work of the ministry. In 1996, Dr. Williams was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by Dr. Leroy Thompson Sr. of Word of Life Christian Center in Darrow, Louisiana. In the same year by the direction of the Holy Spirit, he founded and pastored Word Of Faith Christian Ministries in Beaufort, South Carolina. The ministry started in a local Boys and Girls Club with only eleven (11) people including children; however, Dr. Williams’ vision was never small. In January 2003, he saw the first phase of the vision that God placed in his heart unfold with the grand opening of a newly erected 450 seat sanctuary! By direction of the Holy Ghost, the ministry was renamed Ever Enriching Life Ministries and the church was named Life House. Dr. Williams received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and an Associate Degree equivalent in Religion from the University of South Carolina in 1980. In 2002, he received his Master of Divinity and later received a Doctorate of Religious Philosophy from Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary of Tampa, Florida. Dr. Williams and his wife, Min. Marie Williams, conduct marriage workshops with this theme: “Marriages ordained by God should be as ‘Days of Heaven on Earth’.” This theme is a reality in their marriage and to all marriages that adhere to this teaching. He believes and knows the keys to a successful ministry and life are found in praying in the spirit, following the leadership of the Holy Ghost, and living and teaching the Word of Faith. Dr. Carlos Williams is married to Min. Marie D. Williams. They have two children – Moriel Dará, and an engrafted daughter, Lawanda Bethel. |
